I know thats a popular idea. For me personally, there’s been numerous times I’ve had a male physician be more empathetic than my female physician. It depends on the specialty. For my primary care physician though I do prefer to have a woman. When I need a specialist urgently I don’t give a fuck.

I wish there was a way to interview a doc before seeing them lol. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really happen with our current model.
