Gave a talk in my dept. on the OSF transition. I wrote up a rough script of the session, which could be of interest to others. I synthesize existing resources and provide my own perspectives. Comments and corrections welcome! zenodo.org/records/2306...
Show PostThis is a great overview of next steps for data/materials sharing after OSF. I'm curious, is there any discussion of moving preprint overlays like @psyarxivbot.bsky.social (not sure of profile... @improvingpsych.org) or @socarxiv.bsky.social off of @cos.io infrastructure? What are the alternatives?
Show PostThis is a big deal. For the first time (I believe) the Lakatos Award goes to a book not published by one of the big commercial presses but by BSPS Open, an idealistic project to issue diamond access monographs. Small budget, top notch philosophy. Congratulations to John Norton and BSPS open!
Show PostPeer review is a gift researchers give to the field, worth >$1B globally in 2020. Imagine if more of that generosity flowed straight back into the scholar-led journals that make research free to read and free to publish. Help build that future, become a diamond reviewer forrt.org/diamond-reviewer
Show PostOh boy. I owe academia about 45 reviews. I am sorry. Please invite me as a reviewer! Apart from writing a review during #PeerReviewWeek I cleaned up my own tracker and you can read most of my reviews since 2024 online on a page on my Uni's gitlab: lroesele.zivgitlabpages.uni-muenster.de/reviews/
