I literally had a conversation with someone on here who said "I am pro-EU but I wouldn't vote to join if it meant losing the pound and joining Schengen."
Show PostThe EU and it's MSs will NEVER allow us to be the hokie kokie member again. We either embrace the ethos of the European project or we can sit on the sidelines and watch with seething resentment and fever dreams of empire. There's only one way to be at the heart of Europe.
Show PostWhat the UK is after.. it seems to me ... is a swiss style buffet à volonté... Because they are still too to petrified to extol the benefits of a United Europe!
Show PostEngland’s currency question is also a problem for Scotland Scottish business is stuck between… Crazy Tory types who don’t like the Euro and will blame foreigners. and Crazy Labour types who don’t like the Euro and will blame foreigners. 🤷🏼♂️
Show PostPrecisely. Except that they are more annoying to argue with than "out" brexiters, when they say "I would vote to join but we'll never sell the idea of the Euro & Schengen to THEM so any deal will have to exempt us from following all the rules." They are cowards and quislings.
