British seasonal workers, or people who live in two countries or Business owners who live or work part of the year overseas are likely to appear in domestic “at home” stats in the UK. As immigrant/emigrants they are probably invisible.

I don’t even believe that’s true because of the way people are counted. EU citizens are probably more likely to come to the UK when they are younger and to work as employees all year round. Brits the other way are more likely to be a little older and stay or work part year.
