Other the Dunkin Donuts (which I thought started in the northeast), I can see those companies being frequented more (at this point) by MAGA types. It would make 'business' sense for them, just like Trader Joe's who caters to people who want more environmentally friendly options (& can afford it).

They don't contribute directly - they contribute to a PAC. It's the same thing, really, just a matter of semantics to avoid breaking the law.
