I had a supervisor explain what a timesaver "AI" was because he could write a short list of bullet points and have it generate a full email, or read emails and convert them to bullet point lists, and it seems like what would be more helpful is a better corporate email policy.

That is an amazing paragraph. I love the bit where it says *he used AI* to summarise the slop (thereby creating, what, slopception?) and got no new ideas (having not used his own brain) and was terribly angry about that. The conclusion is about right. But… good grief.

I do love that all the studies on crows and grudges are like “we know they hold grudges for at least a month but that’s only because that’s how long we studied them for, it could actually be much longer than that, like they definitely could be holding a grudge forever”
