I’m in Marin County, California, which is supposed to be liberal but also has classism and racism issues. Still, most people honked in support of our No Kings protest today. But there was one angry old white man in a white Chevy who flipped us off. I gave it right back to him!

I participated in a Mensa weekend event once (my teen daughter was the one with the high IQ, I was just along for the ride). I can confirm that whatever IQ tests test for, it wasn’t for success. However, they all seemed very nice and grateful for the community of misfits that they had found.
