Interested in history & wargaming. My aim is to paint as many historical 15 mm miniatures as I can before old age catches up with me. Wish me luck! https://blog.vexillia.me.uk https://tabletop.social/@vexillia Content automatically removed after 7 days.

15mm Thracians, metals from Forged in Battle. Completed my Thracian foot so thought I'd pop them all up together. The figures were nice and straightforward to paint. They've come out looking suitably colourful and vicious. I decided to put some trees in the background to make them feel at home.

Show PostThank you for sharing your thoughts and that very interesting slide effect from b/w to color. The figures look great and I appreciate the tip about contrast checking! I'm going to try that once I'm back to my miniatures. I follow Tancred as well, a wonderful source for inspiring me to improve
Show PostPrepping (scraping casting lines on) these Tin Soldier 15mm Classical Indian elephants and the thought struck me that wildly cute and characterful “historicals” sculpts like these may never be created again in a world thats increasingly about 3D printing and AI-assisted designs. What a shame eh?
