Remember when we all used to clap every night to thank doctors, nurses, scientists, and public health workers for saving lives? Thanks to disinformation, people in these professions are now frequently threatened and attacked. There is no way society can keep functioning like this.

There is nothing normal about this. We refuse to allow this to be the norm. We will not stick our heads in the sand because it’s comfortable. Today we need to rest and recover, but we will never stop fighting for what is right.

Thread on CDC shooting👇... Good morning. Yesterday, after hours of hiding, trying not to make a sound, we stepped outside and saw massive bullet holes in our office windows. Those weren’t random shots. That was a high-powered weapon no civilian should ever own.
