Donald Trump first made the NY Times in 1973 when Richard Nixon's justice department thought he and his dad were too racist. Imagine how racist they had to be. They had staff put C for colored on rental applications so the Trumps could know not to rent to somebody. 53 years now and nothing changed

I think that's why mainstream media is focused on the "betrayed Trump voter" angle—way easier for them to do that than "Trump was always like this and it was easy to see the signs"
