Most American hockey fans know the words to the Canadian national anthem. And we all look forward to hearing it - & singing along with it - at games when American-based teams host Canadian-based teams. I'm sorry that Canadians haven't realized that we've all been doing this here in the US all along.

Every American hockey fan learns the words of "O Canada" before finishing elementary school. More American venues should do both anthems before every game — to thank Canada for creating hockey and enriching our lives with this great game.
