I feel like both Callaghan and Jubilee kinda share this view where our biggest problem is polarization, and if we just could talk with each other again, that would solve our problems. It's a usually derived from the tired old "both sides are bad" false equivalence

one point I really wish I'd made in the video but ended up cutting is that Andrew's debate claims in his Jub video are about low salience conspiracies. He doesn't talk about election denial or vaccines or trans panic. And so I empathize with the desire to think "these guys are just weird boys"
