"a left that has lost the ability to regulate language and behavior is a left that is incapable of policing antisemitism." I think a big part of the problem is that there is no benefit for policing your language - support any action against the Israeli state and you are called an antisemite.

Show PostIsrael invests heavily in tech, including AI, which it uses for war (see Lavender). The most vocal proponents of AI tend to support the current regime, and its authoritarian worldview aligns with techbro utopia. They're both trying to move past post ww2 liberal democracy. It's not a surprising link.
