The public messaging of the mainstream trans community (trans/queer orgs) has been mostly about pronouns & identities during the last decade. We almost NEVER educate the public on why HRT is important to us (& its effects) -- yet every other corporate email has pronouns in its signature.

Absolutely HRT, not even a contest. Social transitioning puts me at the whims of others far more than HRT. I get much more euphoria over having control over my sex than I do through external validation from social transition

Hell, I'd go further than irrelevant - it's *actively* misleading. It encourages a clinician to start from a potentially incorrect assumption about anatomy, rather than a neutral position from which to investigate further.
