I'm fine if they don't want to pay their taxes...as long as they withdraw from using anything that involves taxes. No fire dept, no ambulances, no public library, et al.

I speculate that a lot of people paid their taxes via their mortgage and don't know the difference between taxes and interest. When they paid off the mortgage they thought that whole bill would go away. Meanwhile, they, of course, see no connection between local services and taxes.

If I have to pay an annual tax on my largest asset that I own, then billionaires should have to pay an annual tax on their largest assets. Eat the rich but tax them first.
