there are countless strategies which are better than vote capitulation. just voting for good candidates even if they "can't win" is one. organizing is another. educating yourself and others helps too. then there are several more we can't discuss on bluesky. you got options!

it will never be "prevented" because their strategy is to keep it permanently looming over us to maintain this exact scenario of capitulation. the crisis is not something that will pass. there may be term-sized fluctuations, but the trajectory will be toward fascism so long as we keep falling for it
