Found out my mom is in the ICU last night. Turns out something was wrong with her heartbeat, and her magnesium and calcium levels were very low. So far she's doing okay, and I just talked to her. But it's still on my mind and I'm worried as I'm a few hours away and can't be there directly.

i guess it's worth saying just to give you some perspective on my occasional absence or relative flakiness that i am super not proud of, my stress and anxiety levels have gotten to the point where i essentially wake up with an elevated heart rate and spend the full day trying to come down.

i don't really feel like a person or like i'm in much of a position to ask much of anyone lately and i'm doing my best to crawl out of it and set my life right but until then just know my absence is never for lack of wanting to be around, usually it could not possibly be more opposite.
