Like much else of what’s wrong today, X is a perfect example of elite failure and capitulation. The technical infrastructure was there to build alternatives over the past three years but the institutions refused to budge. They’ll be the first to act shocked when this all repeats itself again.

Someone disagreeing with you is not saying shut up. That’s a very self dramatizing claim. Speaking for myself there is a school of thought that says greater ML complexity and sophistication of output does lead or is likely to lead to self awareness and i don’t see any reason to think that’s true.
