Sat 26th was a LONG day. Started pre-dawn at Evan's Lookout (too windy for any nightbirds) and finished at midnight in Capertee, where I did finally get good views of Owlet-Nightjar & Tawny Frogmouth. In between via Lithgow, Falnash and Wallace Lake for lots of birds #wildoz #Australianbirds #birds

PM seawatch #Reculver with Jack Chantler & Nigel Jarman @nigej.bsky.social. Forecast switch to a north-westerly didn't disappoint. Prolonged views of a Cory's Shearwater just after drizzle ceased around 12.51 moving east from the Swale. 6 Arctic Skua & 13 Little Gull were good supporting cast.
