Owning a cannabis business is such a liability because you're at the mercy of the federal gov to look the other way and decide it's not worth enforcing the law. Add in the conflict of interest that you're in a position where you're involved in the creation of state regulation... no good.

Weirdly I had a little personal version of Daybreakers sketched out in my head too. The problem with movies like this is that they’d be way more interesting if they followed the logic of their own worlds to natural conclusions than tried to jam them into metaphors for reality
