I am in my mid-30s and Congress has gotten off it's ass ONE time in my life to do anything to fundamentally change the system and it was a years long struggle resulting in the ACA being a shadow of what it could have been. Gay marriage was the fucking courts! Provide a counter example.

What do you mean its not connected with reality? Its literally the only reality we've seen. Its happened with clinton in the 90s, obama in the 2000s and Biden. Its not doomerism to be pleading with them to stop making the same mistakes they have across 40 years now that have brought us here
