I feel like Nathan Fielder is genuinely fascinated by people. I also think that he kind of hates them, but he is frustrated by that because he wants to love them, and he's looking for a reason. Hasn't found it.

As a senior dev seeing the kids use AI for everything and not develop the skills needed to be senior, if rent seeking was my motivation I’d be pro-AI. I worry about the accumulation of tech debt and the proliferation of bad code no one has read, both of which again would be good for me career wise

This is a great example of why I’m sick of all this. These people insist that it has to be bad faith or ignorance. They cannot fathom anyone having an informed opposition for good reasons. That’s a limitation of your own mind buddy
