Like I'm always polite to the person on the phone but honestly I'm kinda done with this? I don't really see how its ethical to lie to people like this, even as a low level employee

Like once again I have repeatedly had an experience where I call my insurance, ask if something is covered , and then they say it's not, and I ask them to "check again" and suddenly it is covered. Insurance are liars and thieves

Like **at best** the claim they were making is "saying that you were half a million dollars in debt when in fact, you only had a bill that said you were half a million dollars in debt, for 3 years, is the equivalent epistemically of a whole-cloth conspiracy theory and you deserve righteous mockery"

I feel like a basic issue bluesky centrists have is they don't seem to get that "the system works a nonzero fraction of the time" is not meaningfully a response to "the system is broken"
