The thing I hate the most after the lack of chronology is the fact that when I get a notification from someone I follow or a friend and I click on it, the link takes me to some random post I didn't ask for and this is on both FB and Insta. At this point, I don't even bother with the notifs anymore.

I left all meta platforms bc of the inability to control my feed - I lost so much time watching reels or whatever from people I wasn’t following and things I wasn’t interested in (and yet found myself watching.) I miss being in touch with people but I needed those hours back 😭

The worst thing is when Facebook puts random content into your feed from people you're not following and groups you're not in. Ads I loathe but understand. But random people? Also great when you've unfollowed someone & they still put posts on that person's wall into your feed anyway.
