This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone. Well-done and interesting, but extremely not my thing. Light on sci-fi, heavy on flowery language and romance. Weirdly observant of a particular time travel story trope. If the first chapter hooks you, you'll probably enjoy it.

Things that end with the people who created them more often than not and for those things to carry on forever would be disingenuous. And they were shocked by my answer bc to them, a perfect heaven-like utopia would be endless time for experiences, food, travel, time with ppl they love, etc.+

I'd sit in my BTF DeLorean all day, switching the flux capacitor on and off to remind myself that's what makes time travel possible, and find the right moment on the highway to go 88 miles per hour, and yes, the car would light up. People would be seeing some serious shit at night
