This is awful, but I do have to wonder about a lot of the comments saying how bad it is that he's admitting it, like... ...what outcome do we want, here? I'm not sure we should be encouraging people to lie about abuse because admitting to it looks worse.

ok but if they had to both talk about it after to decide what it was, then he wasn't afraid because he didn't know! We don't know what happened, and the line can be blurry. People are complicated. If it was with malicious intent, then fine. Kill him. whatever. But we don't know, so we can't decide.
