Not gonna RS the thread that made me think about this (you've likely already seen it, or a similar one) BUT Every person I know who has cut off or gone low contact with a parent took YEARS of agonizing and trying to make things work because damn that's their PARENTS.

a caveat of living with family i suppose. we can't, actually eat a lot of what they like (pork, beef) and they favor ingredients to make larger meals..? where our body limits us to limited cook times with rest and such so the small snacks and fresh breads were superb

everytime we go down to the kitchen there is so much more "huh there's no food" feelings compared to wifecity. i think, maybe, because aethernyans stocked up lots of overlapping likes and specifically for nyans we had access to lots of fresh fruit and Small snacks (recommended by our nutrit!)
