Brilliant day at Spurn, started with alot of Woodcock, I had 8, then a lifer with a Black-faced Bunting (thanks to Karen Jayne for photo). Followed that with1 of 2 Isabelline Wheatear. As these took most of the day the other rarities will hopefully still be here tomorrow.

Early birding slightly scuppered by the strength of the stiff ne'ly today but by mid-morning baking hot again. Plenty of com migrants about incl the first flurry of Tree Pipits overhead and another 4 Pied Flys trapped at the Obs. Big inc to min 78 Balearics offshore + huge nos of Med & BhGulls
