I mean... this should not be a surprise. Managed forests have biomass removed all the time. They are often lower in diversity, too. And are frequently disturbed (managed), which can change growth patterns.

Keir Starmer's government wants to see hundreds of energy & water-guzzling data centres built in Britain. We need "growth" like this like we need the growth of cancerous tumours.
