Home after a fantastic time at Pictcon @pictcon.bsky.social where I moderated a panel on AI, listened to several other panels, and then decamped to the bar to share time with writers and attendees. Then I took the train back to Kirkcaldy and got home to the temp rental to decompress.

I honestly was secretly hoping that Jane Schoenbrun’s novel wouldn’t be great because it’s high key annoying when people are talented in multiple artistic mediums. But I regret to inform you that it’s amazing and they’re just like an actual genius or something.
