There are over 1 million Irish disabled people, and yet there are only 3-4 or disabled TDs. There is a massive problem of recruitment and retention of disabled civil servants (well under 4%) Our government does not see disabled people as people but as an inconvenience.

I think some people just don’t understand what it’s like to get a bill for a couple hundred dollars that sets you reeling. Same people coincidentally have never been punched in the fucking face and don’t know how much it hurts.
