I would allow limited exceptions for non-voting shares but they'd have to be, like, foreign investment in a major defense contractor whose primary business model is defense contracting.

also, and I know this is not the point, but knowing a few canadians IRL: their healthcare system kinda sucks. it's not transferable between provinces without a 3 month waiting period (and for short trips, for quebec), it doesn't cover most drugs, and then there's the "you should kill yourself" thing
