Putting a perfunctory bit here to supplement my sparse activity on this site since I am leery of getting too prolific on any one social and that can come across as suspicious! Life resume: AuDHD, queer, fat, enthusiastic generalist. Mefite of same name.

Show PostI’ve worked in that area that sends those out and what it takes to actually send out a tracked “spam test”. Yes, all those URLs are set up to be tracked way ahead of time. So lots of high up layers had to approve that one. It’s disgusting all around, including the Dir of IT and on down.
Show PostMy old company did that too. The director of email marketing fell for it.
Show PostMy last employer did a phishing test which was the CIO inviting to connect on linked in. It was such a slap in the face, like “you losers should have known the CIO wouldn’t want to be connected to any of you on linked in.” And you know the CIO signed off on that.
