it seems pretty obvious to me that the “alignment” issue of agentic LLMs is much like the “hallucination” problem: these are fundamental limitations of the technology that cannot be repaired, only worked around. the technology is, therefore, defective and not fit for purpose

I think we need to get away from the idea that every road must connect just as it always has done. It's over complicated and unsustainable. Some roads need to be shut off at one end to make junctions simpler for everyone. Pedestrians are especially made to know their place as it stands.
