Ironically the 1st is the sub-subject I hated, yet did my award winning final year project in, them last what I ended up doing my PhD in. The middle one covered (but doesn't mention) the subject I fell in love with during my PhD (cryptography)

I was cleaning up after a particularly satisfying lunch when Sam surprised me by leaping up onto the kitchen counter (from the floor). He’s not a young cat and was never a great leaper, so I thought his days for this were over. Lovely that he can still do this - he deserved his licks 😊
