I'd say this is an example of why "write what you know" isn't always the best advice. 😒 I revere Hemingway's mastery of sentences, but his subject matter? 🤔 I just can't! ~ I tried "The Old Man and the Sea" & #DNF because I stopped to ask myself... Who was I forcing this *slog* to impress?
