Good start to my east coast trip - female Desert Wheatear still by the RNLI station at Wells-next-the-Sea this morning. It came out of roost and performed well at first light before moving west along the beach to commence feeding #ukbirding

Glorious sunny afternoon #patchbirding Highlight : my first short eared owl of autumn 😍 3 gw egret , lots of teal,redshank,oystercatchers,curlew black-tailed godwits on shore . 2 stonechat, grey wagtail,2 raven ,kestrel,buzzard and a steady stream of skylark and meadow pipit.

Bickershaw CP at midday, jack snipe flushed from side of Nevison's, 4 common snipe, 1 great white egret, 1 redwing over. Also yet another clouded yellow, lots of common darters but just 1 migrant hawker #BCPBirding
