Seems to still be happening. Last mention of it I could find is a Variety article earlier this month stated "McQuarrie is set to direct Arnold Schwarzenegger in a third Conan the Barbarian movie, titled King Conan." 🤞

Well of course it wasn’t a remake of The Holy Grail but a film of the Tony Award winning Musical Monty Python’s Spamalot - now twice on Broadway and currently touring the USA.

I didn't know him actually, but one morning on Breakfast TV he popped in from a neighbouring dressing room, to tell me how much he loved Spamalot and how he and Michael Caine went to see it all the time in New York and giggle. So sweet, so kind and so thoughtful. I floated out of there.
