I've always hoped for one of these little beauties on the #AlstonReservoirs #Longridge patch. It's only taken 20 years! Cracking male #SnowBunting tucking into seeds on the no.1 reservoir bank for an hour this morning before it departed east. Rock Pipit and 39 Whoopers too. 🌟 Quality. #LancsBirding

Postu gösterMore local mooching today, a flock of what I assume were Golden Plover, c.50 flew east over home this morning (no bins but the echelon had their vibe) we then headed out and checked various sites for wheatears, Pallas's Warblers etc with not luck so went and had some Guiness!
Postu gösterIf anyone has followed this trip on here the harrier in this blog has been confirmed as a moulting adult female Hen or Northern Harrier. There is one previous record of either of these species on Cape Verde, a Hen in 2011 though that's before they were split. natural-selection.uk/2026/10/27/b...
