Post anzeigenMore local mooching today, a flock of what I assume were Golden Plover, c.50 flew east over home this morning (no bins but the echelon had their vibe) we then headed out and checked various sites for wheatears, Pallas's Warblers etc with not luck so went and had some Guiness!
Post anzeigenIf anyone has followed this trip on here the harrier in this blog has been confirmed as a moulting adult female Hen or Northern Harrier. There is one previous record of either of these species on Cape Verde, a Hen in 2011 though that's before they were split. natural-selection.uk/2026/10/27/b...
