The Ravens are always interesting to watch. Today I thought they were coming early as usual when I heard a contact call but he/she just flew over. Just now they have both been. Gravy spent some time with me but Chips seemed busy protecting territory. Yesterday I saw him chasing off 2 youngsters!

There have been some really nice local birds of late, none more so than this Black Redstart at Machynys late Friday afternoon. Initially elusive it popped up right in front of us before continuing to actively feed amongst the boulders. #birdingWales #UKWildlife #birds

I am walking & my heart is full of joy. Seen the Ravens, a Sprawler in the moth trap, birds, insects & fungi to spot everywhere! I can’t believe that I wanted to end it all just a few months ago. I hope if anyone is feeling the same it can give you hope things can get better 🤗
