I think the same thing is true of long-running creative projects. It'd be weird if a musician's style and interests didn't change between albums, weird if every single book a writer wrote was the same. And that change manifests in a series written over a decade, too.

Ver postI appreciate the new things it delves into, I fondly remember the things it's been through even if some of them have fallen to the wayside. It's a growing and developing story in the way a person grows and develops. Things change, but they change in a direction I can love as well.
