Voir le postI think there's good evidence for vaguely hebbian-like learning in the brain, but not for STDP which this quote seems to describe. But the truth is that the rules of synaptic plasticity are still unclear. Lots of good ideas but the data are so messy and complicated that very little is yet agreed

Voir le postThe millisecond timing is STDP onwards. Hebb's definition, 'repeatedly or persistently takes part in firing' implies no timing window, and as such only talks about the causal side: pre-spike (cell A) followed by post-spike (cell B).
