Thrilled to see this rave review of my friend Farah Jasmine Griffin's forthcoming biography of Toni Morrison. Farah's writing is proof that a great biography can be intellectually rigorous and masterfully told. Morrison still has many lessons for us. www.publishersweekly.com/9780593491102

LOL suckers! After the CSU encouraged students (staff, administrators, faculty) to "lighten their load" by using AI for their duties... & they paid $17m for GPT Edu when they could've used ChatGPT for free! there's a cap. Forgot how to think/write for yourself? Oopsies, you've run out of credits!
Show Post"who needs to learn how to write, why struggle with that - it's here and it's not going anywhere & we need to take advantage of it!" I bet they are buying extra $$$$$ credits for Millie, so she can keep using the GPT for her writing & thinking!

Maybe universities shouldn‘t be tying which departments and programs they decide to invest in based on projected job trends they have no actual clue about. Why not just invest proportionally in every field of inquiry rather than underfund some disciplines and overfund others?
