Madison et al were also helpful enough to include the no religious tests clause right there in The Constitution. As ever, the people who most performatively fetishize The Constitution are also the people most eager to urinate on its actual provisions from a great height.

It’s already happening because the tr*mp Christian Nationalist wing is a coalition of very divergent beliefs. Even the Dominionists are two different factions - the Christian Reconstructionists, Hegseth & Vought, & the NAR/Ind Charismatic apostles & prophets These people do not like each other.
