One of the things I struggle with the most on a daily basis is watching things just get more and more obviously fucked in real time and seeing a little media bubble that really hasn't changed a lot since I was a kid in terms of what it talks about or the way it talks about it

💯 This. Social and economic determinants of Health is related to privilege. I have been able to give up seeking even part time work as an increasingly disabled person, as I have the privilege of having a partner who can support me financially. I also have acres of paperwork with recognised diseases.
