pretty incredible we're not even two generations removed from state controlled censorship boards telling artists they're getting a little too blasphemous with it. seeing something like that and what they cut from it really contextualizes how gutless and inert the complaints about "wokescolds" are

Absolutely nothing prepared me for putting on a big dumb movie and seeing Denzel Washington in "disguise" as a traditional Muslim reading "Between the World and Me" by Ta-Nehisi Coates. 2018 was awesome.

I'm not kidding, the guy simply has to be at the very least deported at the end of this. If we're doing "he's not from here" shit, he is the most not from here guy alive. He needs jail or deportation the second it's viable to do it.
