Of course, it’s absolutely not a movie for everyone or even most people. I also am weird in that I have almost no stomach for true crime and an endless capacity for fictional horror. For me it’s very much how I can engage with these dark ideas through a lens of fiction.

I’m like Ash in Alien, I admire its purity. The movie is about one thing stretched to the absolute breaking point and yeah your reaction is either to pace nervously around the room or just start laughing at the escalation.
