They may well remove detailed assessors … it’s currently unclear to me whether that is what they’re saying they’ll do for Discovery Projects.
Show PostIf the College has the necessary subject experts, then why have separate Detailed Assessors and rejoinders at all? If it does not, how can ARC be confident that the reweighting at the College stage is academically sound?
Show PostIf GAs can disregard a strong majority of subject-matter expert assessments without giving applicants any meaningful explanation, ARC needs to remove these redundancies. Enormous time, effort, stress for applicants & DAs, wasting public resources for little apparent influence on the final decision.
