There is a Certain Kind of Champaign-Urbana Guy who has a manifesto and gets mad when people don’t admire it enough. I shared an office with one when I was at NCSA in the early 90s and it wasn’t Andreesen. My advisor got threats from another one that also wasn’t Andreesen.
